The Vision

11:11 A Creative Collective's vision is to help the San Fernando Valley become a strong and independent artistic community that will develop as a thriving and accessible destination for those seeking an innovative and unique artistic experience.

11:11 A Creative Collective believes that the Valley not only needs an artistic hub, but also has great potential to become a strong creative community that actively engages its citizens.

11:11 A Creative Collective is committed to recognize and celebrate artists of all backgrounds and experience who produce exceptional and innovative work. We will work towards creating a network of artists and produce several shows per year. Eventually, we will be promoting all art forms, including music, performance art, installation art, theater, poetry and fashion.

History

11:11 A Creative Collective (Formerly 11:11 I of the Arts) was founded in March 2009 with the intent to provide San Fernando Valley artists an accessible space to show their work as well as network and grow professionally. The four co-founders, Addy Gonzalez, Allexis Abdo, Erin Stone, and Noel Perry set out to lay the ground work for the beginning of this Valley based collective. Although two of the four original co-founders left to pursue other interests, 11:11 maintained its focus and continued to fullfill its mission. In 2009, Matthew Plotkin joined the team and brought his expertise in accounting and passion for the arts.

11:11 has produced a number of group exhibitions, fundraisers, live art events, and community based events including the Canoga Park Artrageous Art Walk and most recently "Art in Numbers" in Reseda. We look forward to expanding, partnering with community leaders and members and continuing to create an art-filled SFV.
