Common Ground is an exhibition focused on the planet earth as an ever-shifting politicized landscape of borders, exclusions, and omissions as well as a shared terrain under pressing physical assault. Through paintings, photographs, sculptures and videos, this multi-cultural, multi-generational group of artists explore the reality of a single planet that is humanity’s most divided territory and damaged common ground.

 

This exhibition can be viewed online or in person by appointment only.

In Partnership with Gallery Girls, 11:11 ACC is offering weekly life drawing sessions to practice your figure drawing chops, 3D modeling or animation!  Bring your own materials- Sketchbooks or tablets encouraged!

From November 8th to December 20, 2020, Zeina Baltagi will join 11:11 A Creative Collective as an Artist in Residence, immersing herself in the examination of surveillance through discussions, performances and art creation. Beginning with a series of conversations with artists and philosophers, Zeina will discuss the watching and policing within common spaces, such as marketplaces; the commodification of public trauma and shame as seen in reality TV; medical surveillance and government surveillance, censorship, and racial profiling.
